Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain for her team in the US female Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. The Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze in the balance beam. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the most medals. At the 2016 Olympics she took home a gold medal at the team competition, earning her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having being among the first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals in a team. Silver medals were also awarded in the individual all-around as well as floor workouts. The three years that passed between her two Olympic Games, she went on a break. Additionally, she was a member of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. As a young girl She began learning gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is the floor exercise. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who died of cancer. She is planning to pursue one in the fashion industry and is looking to increase her famous line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce, a new book she is working on will release later in the year.
